VIVA AMERICA

"No matter how long it may take us to overcome this premeditated invasion, the American people in their righteous might will win through to absolute victory.
I believe that I interpret the will of the Congress and of the people when I assert that we will not only defend ourselves to the uttermost, but will make it very certain that this form of treachery shall never again endanger us.
Hostilities exist. There is no blinking at the fact that our people, our territory, and our interests are in grave danger.
With confidence in our armed forces, with the unbounding determination of our people, we will gain the inevitable triumph -- so help us God."--F.D. Roosevelt

What a wonderful idea & a great way to share your experiences.

Bethany, you are a fabulous writer. It's almost like being there with you.

When we were in Europe we used calling cards to make phone calls. We can send you one if you want.

Keep up the good work. Love, Grandma & Grandpa Brooks

Hey Beth,

Thank You for sharing this with me. I really feel that I am experiencing the trip with you. I sit down in the morning with my coffee and check to see if you have posted a new blog.

Sounds like you're doing great. Good luck with the bull fight! I don't think I would be interested in watching it but I would see it to experience their culture. I'd probably cry- I've never seen anything purposefully killed...besides the fish you and I used to catch in the river in NH. when we were younger.

Gotta run, Love you, Britt
